This notice explains how Lotus Lounge uses your information when you visit our website, contact us or join our VIP mailing list.

Our mailing list

If you choose to join our VIP list, we use your first name and email address to send you opening news and updates. We only send these emails with your consent. You can unsubscribe using the link in any email or contact us at info@lotus-lounge.co.uk.

We keep your details while you remain subscribed. After you unsubscribe, we may keep a minimal record to make sure we respect your choice. Joining the mailing list is separate from your cookie preferences.

Contacting us and using the website

When you contact us, we use the information you provide to answer your enquiry. We also process technical information, such as your IP address and browser details, to deliver the website and protect our forms from spam. We do this for our legitimate interests in running a reliable service and responding to our guests.

Cookies and your choices

Essential technology keeps the website working, protects our forms and remembers your cookie choice. It is always enabled. Optional analytics is off until you accept it. Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent you from browsing or joining the VIP list.

If you accept analytics, we collect information about page visits, how you reach the site and the devices and browsers used. This helps us understand and improve the website. We do not send the name or email address entered in our VIP form to analytics.

Analytics uses cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to recognise visits. These may remain for up to two years, unless you or your browser remove them sooner. We remember your cookie choice in this browser for up to six months, then ask again.

Use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page to review or withdraw your choice. Withdrawing analytics consent stops tracking, removes recognised analytics cookies and reloads the page. You can also remove stored cookies through your browser settings. Optional tracking stays off when JavaScript is disabled.

This website does not currently use advertising cookies or session recordings.

Sharing and keeping your information

We use service providers to support website hosting, security, email communications and, with your permission, analytics. They process the information needed to provide those services. We may also share information where required by law. We do not sell your personal information.

Some providers may process information outside the UK. Contact us if you would like more information about where your data is processed and the safeguards that apply.

We keep information for as long as it is needed for the purpose described here, including handling enquiries, respecting your preferences and meeting legal obligations.

Your rights
